Who we are

Pick People HR Consultancy, based in Ahmedabad, Gujarat. We decide how and why the information described below is used, which under India's Digital Personal Data Protection Act, 2023 makes us the data fiduciary.

What we collect

Only what you type into the contact form, plus two technical details recorded with it. We do not track you around the site and we do not build a profile of you.

Your name

So we know who we are replying to. Required.

So we can reply. Required.

Helps us understand your situation. Optional.

Whatever you choose to tell us. Optional.

Recorded automatically, to limit automated abuse of the form.

The user-agent string your browser sends, for the same reason.

When you simply read the site

Nothing is stored about you. There is no analytics, no advertising and no third-party script on these pages: everything, including the fonts, is served from our own server.

Why we hold it

To answer your enquiry, and to follow up about the services you asked about. We rely on your consent, given by choosing to send the form. We do not send marketing to people who have not asked for it, and we never sell your details.

How long we keep it

Enquiries are deleted automatically 365 days (1 years) after they are received. This runs weekly and is not a manual process. Ask us sooner and we will delete yours immediately.

Who else sees it

Our own staff, and the two services that make the website work: the company hosting our server, and the service that delivers our email notification of your enquiry. Both act on our instructions only.

We do not share your details with advertisers or data brokers, and we do not transfer them outside India except where our hosting or email provider does so to operate the service.

Cookies

This site sets two cookies, both strictly necessary, so no consent banner is required:

• A session cookie, which keeps your contact form working across the page load. It expires when you close your browser.
• A security token, which stops another website submitting the form on your behalf.

Neither identifies you, and neither is used for tracking or advertising.

Your rights

Under the Digital Personal Data Protection Act, 2023 you can ask us to:

• Tell you what we hold about you, and who we have shared it with.
• Correct anything that is wrong or out of date.
• Delete it. We will do so unless we are required by law to keep it.
• Withdraw your consent, which is as easy as giving it.
• Nominate someone to exercise these rights if you cannot.

Email info@pickpeopleconsultancy.com and we will respond within one working day. If you are not satisfied with our response, you may complain to the Data Protection Board of India.

How we protect it

The site is served over an encrypted connection. Access to enquiries is limited to named accounts, each protected by a password and, where enabled, a second factor from an authenticator app. Sessions are encrypted and expire.

No system is perfect. If we ever discover a breach affecting your information, we will notify you and the Data Protection Board as the Act requires.

Changes

If this policy changes we will update the date at the top of this page. Material changes affecting how we use information already collected will be notified to you directly.
